Jasper looked around, and heard Emmett's booming voice. So, they wanted to have the meeting that was inevitable, the meeting that was hopefully going to save all of his family's lives, right down to his niece. Wow. Niece was still weird to say. Wing of a Butterfly, one of his favorite songs came on, and he spoke. "So, we're sure they're actually going to attack? Or is this just an idea going around their heads. Cause if so, then I don't think we should be preparing ourselves for a battle to the death yet." he said, his voice calm as he spoke.

He looked at Bella, her nerves were getting the best of her. Maybe he should calm her down, she was still a newborn, excellent self control of course, but a newborn nonetheless. He sent calm feelings toward her, worried what would happen to her sleeping daughter in her arms if she did snap. Well, most likely they wouldn't find out, Bella loved Renesmee just as much as she loved Edward, possibly more. She wold make sure the young girl was safe, before even thinking about losing control.

A Paramore song came on, and the pulsing beats were soothing him, almost as if he had been able to use his power on himself, which he had learned was not possible. But, apparently, music worked for him, well to calm him down at least. Haha. He looked around at his assorted family, and felt a spark of love run through him. Bella and Renesmee were included in his family in his mind, without even thinking. He had always been wary of her when she was human, and he felt kind of bad about that.

But now that she was immortal, he had no problem being around her. Renesmee, being half-vampire, was no problem for him either. The vampire smell tainted her human blood, making her smell... well not bad but not good enough to eat. She smelled just a little less like his family, a little more human. But, that didn't bother him, and it didn't bother the rest of the coven, heck it hadn't even bothered some of the Volturi, the more civilized that is. Most of them had wanted to attack so bad, they hadn't even smelled her, well they weren't feeling thirsty. They were just feeling bloodlust.
